The history of the Château Grand-Puy Ducasse begins when Arnaud Ducasse bought in the middle of the seventeenth century to Jacques de Segur, Lord of Lafite, his little house on the edge of the river Pauillac. The 40 hectares of the vineyard are spread over three large plots seated on a gravelly soil of the Pauillac appellation. The vineyards of the property are close to Mouton, Lafite and Pontet-Canet to the North.Aged on average 25 years, they are divided between Cabernet Sauvignon (63%) and Merlot (37%).

Gramercy Cellars is an 8,000-case winery founded in 2005 by Master Sommelier Greg Harrington and his wife, Pam, to make Rhone and Bordeaux-based wines in Washington State. Gramercy’s philosophy is all about preserving the integrity of the fruit and vintage: to source the best vineyards, harvest ripe (not overripe) grapes, intervene minimally in the winemaking process, and use as little new oak as possible.
