Kaiken is the Argentine venture of Mr Aurelio Montes, the respected winemaker of Chilean Montes Winery, and producer of the excellent Montes Alpha wines. “Kaiken” was taken after the wild geese that fly across the border between Chile and Argentina, much like the situation of Aurelio Montes travelling between these two countries. Ale- jandro Sejanovich and Jeff Mausbach strive to produce limited quantity wines that reflect the unique characteristics of their two small estate vineyards.
