Katnook’s rich history dates back to 1867, when founder of Coonawarra, John Riddoch, purchased vast parcels of land to grow vines. It was here at “Katnook” that the Coonawarra wine region was born, home to some of Australia’s finest terra rossa vineyards. This outstanding winery has two wines in the prestigious Langton’s Classification of Australian Wines, two Jimmy Watson trophies & a five-star rating in James Halliday’s Wine Companion 2019. Katnook is also the official wine for Opera Australia, the nation’s largest arts organisation.

With over 140 years’ experience, McWilliam’s is amongst the few that helped shape the evolution of Australia’s wine industry. Today, the McWilliam’s family name is one of the most respected and stands as an iconic Australian winery. Mitolo was established in 1999 by Frank Mitolo whose vision is to create wines of individuality, integrity and utmost quality. Underpinned by its motto “strong yet gentle”, Mitolo’s wines seek to reflect a unique Australian style of being powerful yet elegant. In 2000, the first Mitolo Wine called G.A.M. was launched. With acclaimed winemaker Ben Glaetzer’s winemaking skills, Mitolo has since achieved outstanding reviews from globally famous wine critics and a market demand outstripping supply.

The Kalleske family have been Barossa Valley’s leading grape-growing family since 1853, consistently growing some of Barossa’s best quality grapes. Today, Kalleske winery is run by the 7th generation who manages both the viticulture and vinification. As active practitioners of sustainable farming, Kalleske is the oldest certified organic and biodynamic vineyard and winery in Barossa Valley. All Kalleske wines are estate grown and vinified with minimalist winemaking techniques to fully capture the essence of the vineyard.

Pirramimma is a family-owned winery founded in 1892. Today, it is managed by third generation Geoff Johnston, an innovative winemaker with a keen focus on very old vines. In 1983 Pirramimma Petit Verdot was released as Australia’s first 100% Petit Verdot – a wine with only three vintage releases that has won 15 show medals. The wine’s splendour has prompted prestigious European wine magazine WeinWisser to ask “is there any better Petit Verdot in the world?”
