St. Urbans-Hof was founded in 1947 by Nicolaus Weis, recipient of the prestigious title “Oekonomierat” (Chancellor of Agriculture) in 1969 for his dedication to German viticulture traditions.
The estate practices strong viticultural techniques, green harvest and careful vinification. Fully dedicated to producing Rieslings, St. Urbans-Hof makes white wines which are true reflections of the individual terroirs comprising of prime vineyards in the Mosel and Saar Valleys.
