Pirramimma is a family-owned winery founded in 1892. Today, it is managed by third generation Geoff Johnston, an innovative winemaker with a keen focus on very old vines. Silver Heights Chardonnay Reserve [Rating:JS92]
Most would have heard of China’s overwhelmingly popular and highly sought-after Silver Heights – the family-owned vineyard that is celebrated for producing the most consistent excellent wine in China. A certified oenologist trained at Bordeaux University, owner Emma Gao later honed her winemaking skills at Chateau Calon Segur where she met her husband Thierry Courtade who was the winemaker at the estate.
