This full-bodied whisky is slowly matured over 18 years in sherry butt casks, American oak and Japanese oak (Mizunara) casks. It’s a masterpiece with deep-rooted, mature notes. Characteristic sweetness of dried fruits and aromatic chocolate that comes from sherry casks intermingled with a profoundly mature flavour that comes from aging the spirits over a long time in Japanese oak casks. This limited edition bottle contains a much higher percentage of the Japanese oak casks, which brings it up to another level of perfection.
