The brainchild of Kevin Judd, Greywacke is named after a grey stone that is found widely in New Zealand. One of the most influential winemakers in New Zealand, Kevin Judd was founder winemaker of Cloudy Bay for 25 vintages. He was conferred the prestigious George Fistonich Medal for putting Marlborough wines on the world map in the 1980s.
Greywacke’s signature wine is its patented “Wild Sauvignon” label name, which is 100% wild fermented with minimal intervention, and oak-aged.
