Pirramimma Shiraz
Pirramimma is a family-owned winery founded in 1892. Today, it is managed by third generation Geoff Johnston, an innovative winemaker with a keen focus on very old vines. In 1983 Pirramimma Petit Verdot was released as Australia’s first 100% Petit Verdot – a wine with only three vintage releases that has won 15 show medals. The wine’s splendour has prompted prestigious European wine magazine WeinWisser to ask “is there any better Petit Verdot in the world?”
